Authenticity is our core commitment

At Kajé, authenticity is more than a promise — it's the foundation of our business. In the world of luxury resale, trust is everything. That’s why we go above and beyond to ensure every item we accept and sell is 100% authentic.

Our Authentication Process

Each item undergoes a thorough inspection for:

  • Stamping, stitching, and hardware
  • Date codes, serial numbers (if applicable)
  • Materials, craftsmanship, brand markings, and holograms

We also partner with trusted third-party authenticators who can provide certificates of authenticity (fees may apply).

To support a smooth consignment process, we strongly prefer that all designer handbags, jewelry, and accessories be submitted with:

  • Proof of authenticity, or
  • Proof of purchase/ownership

All fine jewelry must include a certified appraisal.

Zero Tolerance for Counterfeits

We enforce a strict no-counterfeit policy.

Attempting to consign fake items is illegal and damages the integrity of the resale industry.

If an item is determined to be counterfeit:

  • A $200 fine will be charged
  • The consignor may choose to: a) Pay to have the item returned, or
    b) Authorize Kajé to dispose of it responsibly
